"I have lived here for one academic year and have enjoyed my stay so much that I didn't consider looking for an alternative for next year. I live in a studio and it is very spacious, well furnished and quiet enough for me to get work done if I do study from home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to students and maintenance issues are attended to extremely quickly that you are barely inconvenienced. I love walking around the garden in the warmer months and the bright flowers at the entrance always make my day when I get home in the spring and summer."

"Having lived here for a while in both Langdale Hall and Carfax court, I can say that it's a great place to live. Having looked round at other halls/places to live, this seems to be by far the most affordable especially as all bills are included. The space allows you to choose how social you'd like to be whilst also giving you the space to be alone. Most maintenance issues are resolved quickly and staff are always nice and friendly. Never had any issues with anyone living there/sharing the flat, and the building is close to bus stops to get around, shops and 2 parks. Langdale Hall/blocks also have access to green space which is great, especially during the summer time and the cleaner always does a good job. Would definitely recommend living here."

"Honestly a fantastic place to live! I didn't enjoy my time in university halls, they were too noisy, dirty, and dark. In second year I moved here and never looked back. The building is beautiful, I feel like im living in a place too fancy to be a student Hall. There's a big garden, and they keep it well maintained with flowerbeds that spring beautiful roses every March/April. The staff are also lovely, they always say hello and are super friendly and helpful if you ever have problems. The maintenance team are great too, they come and sort any problems in your flat as soon as possible, usually on the same or next day. I would rate them 6 stars if I could."
